"Territory WAR Online," the sequel to my 2006 hit, "Territory WAR."

But don't think that this is simply a remake with online play added. From looking at the screenshots you'll first notice a huge leap in the graphics department. The levels and effects have been created by Newgrounds' poxpower, and blow my old ones out of the water. The engine itself is a complete overhaul from the last one, with many bugs fixed. No more teleporting from high jumps- Collisions are frame independent and pixel based, meaning just about everything should be deadly accurate. Not to mention that all of the terrain is now truly destructible. I've also partnered with Xgen (xgenstudios.com) to use their mmocha server technology, which allows me to create the online component to the game.

Territory WAR Online will be an account based system. You'll be able to log on for quick-play if you just want a quick match, but for the true fans you can register a free account that will hold your game persona and track all your stats for you.

I regret to say that there is no player vs. CPU mode. Quite frankly trying to program AI to fight in a dynamically changing stage is too much of a task for one person, at least in a respectable time period :) Challenge mode will return though, so get ready to sharpen your skills and compete for the best times worldwide again.

And what would a new game be without new weapons? In addition to the classic grenade, rifle, and boot, you will also have impact grenades and a rocket launcher. You'll also have the ability to build walls and platforms directly into the surrounding level, to add an extra element to your offensive/defensive strategy.

The game will launch with four levels, with more levels and eventually weapons to be added later (probably much later, I'm getting tired of working on this game) I plan to have the game ready for full beta testing by late February, with a launch in early March. Cross your fingers!
